What hail does to cars here
Dallas–Fort Worth sits in one of the most active hail corridors in the country, and spring storms arrive in waves rather than one at a time.
Storms here are regional, not local
A single supercell tracking up the I-35 corridor can put hail on Fort Worth, then Grapevine, then Frisco within an hour. Whole neighbourhoods file at once, adjuster calendars fill, and the drivers who documented early tend to move first.
Most damage is shallow and hard to see
Metroplex hail is usually pea to golf ball sized, which dents horizontal panels without cracking paint. That is why a light board matters: hail shows as bends in fine parallel lines long before you find it in flat daylight.
The car rarely needs paint
Shallow, unbroken paint is exactly what paintless dent repair is for, so most Metroplex hail work keeps the factory finish. Paint enters the picture when the surface is cracked, a body line is hit, or a panel needs replacing.
Distance is the part people underestimate
Getting a car to a repair and back again is two trips across a region the size of Connecticut, in traffic. Taking that driving off your calendar is most of what we do.
March to June
When the season runs
Most Metroplex hail falls between March and June, with the heaviest weeks usually in April and May.
Storms build over the dryline out west, mature as they cross into North Texas in the afternoon, and often arrive here at their strongest point in the evening. A second, shorter run of storms can turn up in September and October, and an isolated cell can drop hail in almost any month, which is why a February dent is not automatically something else.
The northern corridor takes the worst of it. Collin and Denton counties sit where those cells are usually at peak intensity, and the ground works against you too: Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen and Flower Mound are newer, wider and flatter than the older parts of Dallas, with young trees, broad arterials and large open surface lots along US 75, the Dallas North Tollway and SH 121. Cars in those cities sit exposed through the working day far more often than they sit under cover, and garages in newer subdivisions are frequently full of everything except the car.

The documentation goes to your carrier the same week. When approval lands, the vehicle is collected door to door, a rental vehicle is coordinated so you stay mobile, and the repair happens with our vetted repair partner. You get clear updates while it is in, and the car comes back detailed inside and out, with a full tank and a lifetime warranty for as long as you own it.
Households with two or three vehicles hit by the same storm go through together on one visit, which is common after a big cell.
